“Warbler” doesn’t really refer to a specific group of birds. It’s used as a common term for small songbirds that are colorful and migrate. April and May is when they all start coming back or migrating on through to Canada and we get to look at colors other than your typical boring pigeon. It’s an opportunity to see some uncommon or even rare birds.

Yellow Rumped Warbler.

Palm Warbler. This is a new bird for me. Palm Warblers typically stay in South America and migrate through the US onto Canada. So to see them is a pleasant surprise. Crap photos but he wasn’t making it easy.

Not a warbler but a female robin with a male gold finch.
